It’s difficult to remain chipper after a season that saw so much inconsistent play on the field, so many injuries and so many frustrations. Add Adam Jones’s post-season capers and the impending doom of free agency into the mix, and the 2016 season was one to forget for the Bengals in so many ways. But wait… there are (and were) always bright spots. There are always bright spots: once again the team sometimes showed how talented it could be, with individual players producing some great performances. October 2016: The month the Bengals came to London

wp_20161030_11_59_45_proIt’s hard to believe that it’s now two months and a bit ago that we were just leaving The Admiralty pub – after a week of drinking, meeting people and going a bit crazy – and readying ourselves to go to Wembley to watch a game that, for many British and European-based fans, provided an opportunity to watch the team play live for the very first time. We’ve all discussed the ins and outs of the game over and over (let’s dispel the myth right here and now: British fans WERE NOT content!), the week leading up to the game will be long remembered because of those nights in the pub, and the new friends we made.
